So first off I’ll answer Mom’s questions. Elder Forbush is from Michigan. Stake Conference was really good. I don’t remember the 70´s name but he did a really good job. He is about 6´6” and black as night and super humble. I would have never guessed that he was a general authority. He is super humble and a really funny, nice guy. One of the elders took a picture with us and him. I’ll get the picture from him and send it next week. And it was cool because Pres. and Sister Vecchi were there too.
Our baptism got postponed because her mom told her that the Book of Mormon is of the devil and stuff. I burned the mom so bad... and the girl knows that it’s true. She is now waiting for her friend who is preparing to be baptized next week so I hope they both will be. But she is still going to church and Young Womens and stuff.
Parabens (congratulations) on the driver’s license J-man. That’s my boy. You’re a free man now. Speaking of Elder Forbush, I remembered a joke that some of the elders played on a new American once that I thought was funny. So it takes a little while to get used to beans and rice every day, and the women always say “eat more Elder, eat more!” So the new elders always want to learn “No thank you I’m full.”. Well they told this elder to say “Só fejão” which means just beans. So when a woman asked “Do you want more?” or said “Eat more!” he would say “Just beans.” and the woman would plop a heapin scoop of beans on his plate ... hahahaha. I thought it was funny.
Things are going good. I’m excited to see the yard when it’s done. And I’m excited to get my package ;) and the story about the boy mooning the other kid made me laugh... sounds like something I would have done... as a teenager ha. (Konni is the Primary Chorister and last week a little girl was staring at a 6 year old boy in Primary and the little boy must not have liked it -or did- because he just pulled down his pants and mooned the little girl.) Well I love you guys and hope all is well.
Love, Elder Anderson
