Hey Family what’s up?

So yeah our 4 baptisms went through. It was really neat. A man in our ward got to baptize his granddaughter and it was the first person he had ever baptized. It was really neat and we activated her mom so that family was really happy. It was a really good baptism. I’ll send the pictures next week.

It looks like for Christmas half of the mission will be going to a sports center here in Itabuna and the other half will have a meeting a week later in Salvador where we can play soccer and basketball and stuff so I’m pretty pumped. That should fun.

Elder Jones and I both stayed but now there are two more missionaries in our house, Elder Do Nacimento and Elder Forbush… It will be good. This week when we were in Salvador, Elder Howard who is in my group, got word that his mom is dying of cancer. He knew she had it but they gave her only a few more weeks to live. He was given the chance to go see her and then come back out on the mission. He is now back home. It’s been really hard for him but he is staying strong. He is a good guy.

Things are going well here. We are really excited to work and keep this good member work going that we are seeing. It’s crazy that it’s so cold there and so hot here. Just shaving is enough to make me sweat... that stinks but what can you do? I’m glad Justin got back (from Europe) safe. It’s crazy that I’ll be calling home again real soon and that I’ll have less than 5 months. It’s so weird. I feel like I used to feel like a month before summer vacation where you can feel the end coming. I love the mission but I’m really tired all the time but I’m happy. I’m just happy to be doing what’s right.

I hope everything is well with you guys and I’ll let you know when I get the package. Don’t sweat it. And yeah, sorry about all the money I spent this week. It was a really stressful week and I won’t lie, I bought a lot of candy to help me through it. Sorry, but thanks for watching that for me. I love you guys so much. I can feel your prayers ... Don’t stop sending them because a missionary needs them until the last day.

Love you.
