Hey there Family,

It was sure good to talk to you guys too. Sounds like you're all doing well, and Trevin’s baptism went well. That’s good. I miss those cats. I didn’t know Bishop Larsen’s dad served in Brasil. Recife has a temple now. It’s the closest one to the people here so they always have trips once a year to the temple. It’s a full day trip by buss. We’re so lucky to have a temple so close. Things are going really well here in Nelson Costa. It’s really hot though, but that’s just part of it. Sometimes I can’t believe how hot it is though. It boggles my mind. How about there? Is there lots of snow?

Today we are going to do a division with a returned missionary who served in New Jersey and another young man in the ward. The RM’s name is Danilo. He speaks perfect English. He is a little goofy but a good guy.

I was just thinking - if not all worthy men could have the priesthood ... Bahia would be a tuffy ha, (Bishop Larsen’s dad said he worked near Tim’s area but at that time, the priesthood had not yet been given to all worthy men, so they did not focus on that area very much back then.) but now everyone can so what a blessing.

It was fun to have Natalie and Grammy and Grampa there to talk to. Grammy and
Grandpa sound like they are good and Natalie just sounds board but busy. There isn’t really much to say because I just talked to you all. This week our p-day will be on New Years. It’s just that the Internet houses won’t be open so we are using the internet today and then working. But thank you all for the advice. My new motto on the mission is the tortoise and the hare... slow and steady wins the race... so I’m just taking this day by day and it seems to be helping. but I love you all and I’m thankful for all of your prayers. Take care..

Hey Family,

So I’ll call about 9 oclock my time. Sound good? The church is about two blocks away from the beach it’s just that I don’t know how to explain how to get to my house from there. It’s about 15 blocks the other way from the beach and to the left. It’s by a soccer court. Maybe that will help.

I really like working with Elder Jones. We are like best friends and we work hard together so it’s cool. Ever since we met in the CTM we wanted to be comps so we got our wish. It’s cool.

So here is a little thing for Trevin’s baptism. (Justin was asked to speak at Bishop Larsen’s son’s baptism that is coming up, so Tim wrote Trevin a little note below.)

Trevin!

Hey buddy, it’s been a while since I have seen you. Maybe you’ve even forgotten about me but I haven’t forgotten you. I heard you’re getting baptized here soon. My mom said that you still like little princesses and dolls. Is that true? Just kidding. I hope you know that I’m super proud and excited for you. I remember my baptism still. You will never forget the good feelings that you will feel today so pay attention to them. Trevin, I love you and I know that Jesus also loves you. So congratulations my little man!

Alright Family, I will talk to you all soon. Take care!!
