What up family?

Things are going good here in old Brasil. Things are going good with my companion. We’re really different but he is a good guy. He is a convert of age 22. He’s 27 now but he works really hard and is really obedient, so it’s good. We do lots of good work and feel the spirit strong. And my Portuguese has gotten a lot better. I’m still far from the Port dreams (dreaming in Portuguese) but it’s coming along.

It’s starting to get real hot now which kinda sucks. You just get to the point where you don’t care cause your just soaked in sweat. My apt has an upstairs and down stairs. The down stairs has the bathroom and the kitchen and upstairs is the big open flooded room where we sleep.

I’m glad you had a good trip Dad. I’m sure that was fun. I would really like to come back and dive here. There are some really pretty places I bet. Yeah I heard about the postal service but, I think the strike is over, and it was only part of the postal system. Like mail kept coming and stuff. I don’t know: it’s weird. But I haven’t got anything yet. The package is probably already at the office but I wont know until the Sept 28th zone conference. I’m sure Monty is keeping you busy. I really wanna play with him. I bet it’s funny. Knowing Justin, he is involved in everything and keeping busy. He’s the man.

Little Heath hasn’t missed a week of church since his baptism and we don’t even have to go get him. This last week he came and sat by me, rested his head on my shoulder, and drew in my planner the whole time. He had never seen a mechanical pencil and he was in awe over it. He said “hey man, it would be so cool to use this at school”... so I ended up just giving it to him. He couldn’t believe it. He hugged my leg ha. It was weird. I felt a real love for him. I felt like his dad. He doesn’t have one. It’s just him and his brother and his mom. He’s the man. His hair is so sweet. I drew his name in graffiti and he just traced it like 50 times. Ha, it was fun. But everything is going well. I gotta go, but I love you all.
