hey family!
first off like I’ve said :) I only find out if I have got a package at zone conferences, so I don’t know yet. Our phone can’t even call to Salvador to find out. But, every zone conference I do get letters from you so thank you so much. I do love getting letters. I still wouldn’t worry that the first voice recorder is gone because I’ve heard stories of packages taking like 4 months.
Anyway, this transfer I got a new companion! ha Elder R. Ferreira. He has been my zone leader this whole time and he asked pres. if he could die on the mission training me. He is like my best friend. I love him so much! I’m so excited. He even went to school to be a machinist and we both had the same job before the mission. This is his last transfer though. He is such a good missionary. He teaches so good. I’m learning a lot from him. He is the only comp I’ve had so far that just loves the people so much. He’s not afraid to play soccer with the kids in the street for 10 min. while we’re working and stuff. And the kids and the people just love him for that. So, I’m really excited.
I’m glad the pool is all taken care of. (We have spent a lot of time closing our pool down for the winter) I remember that day too well. It’s hard to think that you guys were cold because I’m definitely not. Man, one thing I actually do miss is fishing. Kinda weird but I bet your trip will be fun dad.(Mike is down on the Salmon river steelhead fishing with 2 friends.) I wish I could go...but one day.
A lathe, huh? Nice! I cant wait to use it. I don’t have much advise for you, dad, just don’t break it or hurt yourself. And if it’s hot... don’t touch it ha.(Mike has a tendency to touch anything hot even when we knows it is hot and will burn him)
Hmmm, for Christmas, maybe just a one pound beef jerky and candy haha. Maybe my green and black leatherish van shoes. Every one here loves my vans and they’re so expensive here I’ll give them to some kid. I always wanna give mine away but I don’t have any other normal shoes.
Anyway, how’s Kimbo and Jared and monster. I miss him so much. I love getting pictures of him. Anyway, I’ve got to go but I love you all so much take care!!
