What up fam?

How are things going with you all? Things are going good here. We just got done with our meeting with Elder Oaks which was really cool. I was also transferred, and I’m back where I started in Ilheus! And I’m with my boy Elder Jones in the area Nelson Costa. It was cool. We are pumped to baptise até o pó!

About the Christmas package, I just want a bunch of sunflower seeds. Beef jerky is always a plus, and whatever else you wanna surprise me with. But it doesn’t need to be much. Stick deodorant is always nice too. By then I will be needin it. Oh man I had forgotten how hot Ilheus is. I’m sweatin my tushy off here. But it’s good.

We are super excited to work with the other elders here too. They seem excited. We have lots of news (new investigators) and good families we are working with. Elder Oaks was way cool. He is funny. He and his wife shook our hands. She was also really cool. He talked about a lot of things but like he said, the best part is all the other ideas and inspiration that comes while he was talking. It’s obvious to tell that he is a SPECIAL testimony that Jesus Christ is our Savior and that He lives.

I sent a CD with Elder Weaver that he said he would give to you guys. (Elder Weaver returns home tomorrow!) That’s so funny - we had heard that Katy (Elder Weaver’s sister) was dating Elder Simons. He is super funny and from Seattle. I love him, but everyone is teasing him about it.

Things are going well. Elder Vitelli and I left lots of good news with baptismal dates for him and his new comp so I hope they all go through. I also got a lot of letters from you Mom. Thanks. I love them. I just got done reading them. You guys are the best. I hope you know how much I am learning about life and about Christ. The mission is so hard but I wouldn’t have it any other way. I know Jesus Christ is our Savior and our Brother. I’m now understanding just a portion of the debt that I am in to Him. I love the Book of Mormon ... there doesn’t exist another like it. I know that we are here to do a little of His work and I don’t have too much time left but I’ll run til the end. Thanks for the support and the prayers. They help a lot. Love you all. Take care,

Elder Anderson
